Description:
Configure and assemble hydraulic and transmission anechoic dyno test stands to accommodate testing of hydraulic pumps,
hydraulic valves and motors, and transmissions.
Conduct tests and provide results.
Skill Requirements:
Must be experienced with procurement and assembly of high pressure
hydraulic valves, fittings, and hoses.
Sensor and instrumentation set-up experience required.
Experience with assembly or testing of transmissions.
Must provide written documentation in a log book.
Must be detail oriented and work and interact well with teams.
Good communication skills required.
Familiarity with computer based data acquisition systems required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with assembly and disassembly of hydraulic pumps and valves.
Experience with tear-down of automotive or truck transmissions.
Experience with noise and vibration (NVH) testing and data analysis.
Ability to operate LMS Test.
Lab software V4 or newer for acquisition and analysis of noise and vibration data.
Experience with Signature Testing and Order Acquisition.
Ability to access existing LMS data files (.lms files), process them with pre-configured set-ups, generate processed data files, then generate plot files and insert them into Microsoft Powerpoint or Word.
